I head up the Solihull division of smarthomes, being responsible for valuations, sales, and marketing in this premium location. I have an in-depth knowledge of the Solihull housing market and know what buyers are looking for, how to achieve the best price for sellers, and how to ensure a quick and smooth sale.

My role as a Sales Director is to carry out market appraisals in Hall Green and Acocks Green and oversee the whole process - from perspective vendors coming to the market through to showing potential buyers their new home. The job role entails change every day, and this is one of the key reasons I enjoy working for smarthomes.  With a great team ethos, smarthomes is a really enjoyable place to work.

My role, since 2010 has changed considerably and working for smarthomes has allowed me to progress my career.  I’ve become highly skilled in many aspects of the agency, resulting in my current position as Office Manager. The team at smarthomes are great to work with and I look forward to many more years of service with them.

I joined smarthomes in 2018 as a Senior Sales Negotiator. I love this particular role - interacting with vendors and purchasers, carrying out viewings, providing feedback and agreeing sales. I am a new member of the smarthomes team and it is a very different environment to my previous. I carried out a Technician apprenticeship with Ferrari North Europe over the scale of four years. Over this time, I worked heavily with events and customers, this is where I found my love for customer facing service. I chose the route of Estate Agency as I have been brought up in the Industry as both Parents are heavily involved in the housing market. The Smart Homes team have welcomed me in and taught me the fundamentals in creating a property sale. I look forward to my future with smarthomes.

Having worked for the last 35 years in the Finance Industry as predominantly a Mortgage Underwriter for a large Bank, with my 5 years as a Quality assurance and training specialist, I decided to take early semi-retirement. I have always had a keen interest in the Property market and love engaging with people face to face and on the phone. I was lucky enough to see the Weekend Sale assistant role advertised and knew of the excellent reputation of smarthomes which fitted my work / life requirements. I really enjoy working with different colleagues and the variety of calls and enquiries we get. I was delighted to be invited to join the team at ‘smarthomes’, as the company’s reputation for providing only the best in customer service is something which is very close to my heart.

Having previously spent 14 years working as an Associate Director for one of the largest and best regarded independent agents in South Warwickshire, I gained a great amount of knowledge and experience from managing a large lettings department which dealt with a wide range of different tenancies and properties, all within the private rented sector and all with their own specific issues.  This enabled me to undertake and complete the Level 5 Diploma from the Association of Residential Letting Agents, which gives me ‘Fellow’ membership. 

I am extremely excited to bring my working knowledge of the industry to a new team and provide new clients with the level of service ‘smarthomes’’ is renowned for.
