Senior Sales Negotiator
I joined smarthomes in 2018 to work alongside Russell Patterson as a Senior Sales Negotiator. I love this particular role - interacting with vendors and purchasers, carrying out viewings, providing feedback and agreeing sales. After having known Jamie for several years, I chose to work for smarthomes based on their reputation for great customer service.
My role as Sales Manager at smarthomes involves all aspects of helping people move home. I particularly enjoy carrying out market appraisals and successfully gaining new instructions. I’m proud to work for such a forward thinking and market leading company. We offer a service which is second to none, offering a modern marketing approach with traditional values.
I joined the smarthomes team in 2018 as a Trainee Sales Negotiator, on an apprenticeship, and am learning something new every day. My role as a Senior Valuer is to carry out market appraisals in Hall Green and Acocks Green and oversee the whole process - from perspective vendors coming to the market through to showing potential buyers their new home. My role over the past 8 years has changed considerably and working for smarthomes has allowed me to progress my career. I’ve become highly skilled in many aspects of the agency, resulting in my current position as Instructions Manager. I joined smarthomes a year ago to become part of their sales progression team, where I assist both vendors and purchasers with their move from when the sale is agreed to the day they get their keys. I have found that no two sales are ever the same and it’s great being part of the client’s journey. My role is often challenging but also very rewarding.
I am responsible, as Sales Administrator, for overseeing the office administration, to ensure our vendors’ properties are showcased to their full potential and to bring them to the market quickly. I was just completing my Level Two qualifications in Business Administration when I applied for the Administrators Apprenticeship with smarthomes. I think that it is a fantastic opportunity for a young person to join such a well known Company and work alongside some amazing people.
As a viewing representative, I accompany potential buyers on viewings, and provide them with all the information they need to know. Working for smarthomes team is brilliant – it’s such a professional and friendly place to work.
I work for smarthomes as a Viewings Representative and the excitement of finding a home for the purchaser gives me great satisfaction. I am also very honoured to be asked to help sell the vendor’s home, usually someone’s biggest asset. I feel part of a caring and professional team who are dedicated to the customers and their job.
I work as a Weekend Viewing Representative for smarthomes and absolutely relish the role. I get to engage with clients during the viewings and then provide feedback to the office, so they are able to relay this to the vendor. I love hearing that a sale has been agreed following a viewing and I am proud to be associated with the market-leading agent in the area.

As the in-house mortgage consultant, I provide advice to those buying, selling & re-financing their property. A mortgage is often an instrumental part of the home buying process and I feel a great sense of satisfaction seeing my clients collect the keys for their new home. I have worked in the industry for over 18 years and in all that time have never been part of a more dynamic, professional team of people who truly go out of their way for their clients. I lead the Lettings Department in their day-to-day roles and oversee the management of the company, along with Jamie Smart. I am very proud to work for such a forward-thinking, vibrant company.

I enjoy being a member of a supportive team within a thriving company. My role as Application Co-ordinator involves preparing letting contracts and checking inventories and all other legal documentation that ensure all properties comply to current legislation.

Senior Property Manager
I have worked in the industry for over 15 years and my current role as Senior Property Manager means that I spend most of my time out of the office, carrying out check-outs and property inspections. I love working for a company that cares about their staff and love that everyone gets on so well.
I enjoy working for smarthomes as it is a very buoyant business and we pride ourselves on giving excellent customer service. My role in the company is to let properties in a seamless and timely manner to qualified tenants. I enjoy looking after my landlords and tenants and giving them a professional and friendly service throughout their time with me.
Every day is different in my role as a Property Manager. Most of my time is spent liaising with landlords and tenants on check-outs, maintenance queries and property inspections. I love working for such a supportive and encouraging company with an amazing team of people and I know our clients benefit from this too.

My role as Junior Lettings Negotiator is to assist with general administration tasks and to take people through the referencing process, which is different every time.
