I have had an interesting conversation this week with a potential vendor who was contacting local agents to find out their selling fee.  The client had told me that their property had been valued and were going on the market at £215,000 and could we match a fee of £1,800.

I explained to the client that it’s not all about the cheap fee and if they choose to use an agent with unrivalled local knowledge and extensive database they may achieve a better price for their home.

This vendor subsequently allowed Smart Homes to visit their home, we now have a sale agreed already at £5,000 more than the cheaper agent valued their home at,  the vendor paid a little more but has sold for considerably more!!!

Another superb week for the best estate agent in Shirley with 8 sales agreed and an amazing 16 new instructions many of which can be seen in the surrounding pages.
